Consultations for the Intersect Project will be held from December through to late February.

VTMH Reference Group
The Group met three times in 2017 to provide VTMH with strategic direction, advice and networks. Plans to re-convene again in the new year are underway.
Redeveloping interpreter resources
Four consultation sessions were held over August and September, gathering a variety of perspective to help inform a new resource. The next stage is to collate the rich information, and seek interest from those who participated to form a reference group.
CPH Program recognised by Vic Gov as an innovative workforce initiative
The Victorian Cultural Portfolio Holder Program was recently chosen as a case study as part of the Review and Consolidation of Innovative Workforce Models and Activity in the Mental Health Sector project by the Department of Health and Human Services.

New program brochures have been developed to help agencies access information about the following VTMH program areas: Victorian Cultural Portfolio Holder Program; Partners in Diversity Program; Education and Professional development Program.

Statement of support for LGBTI people of faith
The Victorian Government Forum on LGBTI Inclusion in Faith Communities was convened in August and wrote this statement regarding the rights of people to live free from exclusion, discrimination, and violence.

Inaugural CPH Oration Evening
Contributions of the Victorian Cultural Portfolio Holder Network members were celebrated on the 19th October at the Melbourne Museum. Guest speaker, Shen Narayanasamy, Human Rights Campaign Director, GetUp!, (pictured here, centre, with VTMH staff) addressed the group with the oration speech, Telling stories and shifting contexts.

Opening doors to spiritual experience: Recapping the forum
Sixty people came together in September for a Forum that explored practices to enrich recovery by engaging with the spiritual experiences of consumers and carers that they support.
