The Victorian Transcultural Psychiatry Unit

“Cultural responsiveness in perinatal mental health: Working effectively with women and their families from culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) backgrounds”

As part of the Victorian response to the National Perinatal Depression Initiative, the Victorian Transcultural Psychiatry Unit (VTPU) was involved in the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) Perinatal Depression Project, which aimed to provide training for health professionals in working effectively with women from CaLD backgrounds experiencing mental health concerns during the perinatal period.
